FAQ
Answers to the questions we hear most often.
What kinds of projects do you take on?
Complex, usually one-of-a-kind software: systems with unusual requirements, hard technical problems, or high stakes. See history, services and expertise.
How does a project start?
With a conversation about your problem, at no charge. If it’s a good fit, we begin by learning the problem in depth and writing down the requirements. See process.
Do you work with existing systems and teams?
Yes. We often extend, rescue, or modernize existing software, and work alongside in-house developers.
Do you ever use AI-generated code?
Of course we do. But we write rigorous documentation that we require AI to follow, and we check everything before it is allowed to enter any code base.
Do you use languages or tools not specifically listed here?
Yes. What we mentioned is just the most common. Skilled software engineers are not tied to one language or one toolset, we adapt to the changing landscape and have no fear of picking up new things – that’s exactly why we are so good!
Will you sign a non-disclosure agreement?
Yes. Much of our work is confidential, and we’re used to protecting it.
How is a project priced?
It depends on the project. We’ll discuss the options once we understand what’s involved.
Where are you located?
We work with clients anywhere, remotely.
